Edward Hughes is a strong lyric tenor who enjoys success on both concert and opera stages.

He studied at the Royal College of Music International Opera School with Tim Evans-Jones, where he was supported by the Gisela Gledhill Award, a Sybil Tutton Award administered by the Musicians Benevolent Fund, Wall Trust and Christopher & Susan Gordon-Wells Award.

His relatively short career has already seen him perform solo in high profile performances in Berlin, Paris and Vietnam as well as frequent performances across the UK, including recently covering at the Royal Opera House.

Edward also enjoys choral singing and is a lay clerk at St. George's Cathedral, Southwark and a member of the Philharmonia Chorus Professional Singers Scheme.
